What is Digital Financing for Agriculture 2023? Karandaaz Pakistan is launching an exciting initiative to transform agriculture finance. They’re inviting proposals that aim to boost financial inclusion for smallholder farmers, improve their financial capabilities, foster agritech and agrifinance growth, and create a safer and more inclusive financial environment.
Who Can Apply? If you’re a financial institution, agritech company, fintech, or any entity with innovative solutions for agriculture finance, this challenge is for you. Whether you’re a startup or an established player, Karandaaz welcomes your proposals.
How to Register? Access the proposal template on their website, complete it, and submit it to dfa@karandaaz.com.pk with the subject line “Proposal Submission – DFA Challenge Round 2023” before the extended deadline on October 12, 2023.
Shortlisting Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria such as innovativeness, inclusivity, sustainability, scale potential, impact, and the capability of the founding/executive team. Check out the term sheet on their website for more details.
Number of Winners Up to two winners will be selected in this round, making this an exciting opportunity to get your innovative solutions recognized.
Funding Amount Winners could receive up to PKR 25 million in grant funding. This grant is subject to the idea stage, a well-defined product roadmap, and specific growth milestones.
