In a groundbreaking move for Pakistan’s tech ecosystem, Ignite National Technology Fund has teamed up with Pakistan Services Limited (PSL) – Hashoo Group Consortium to oversee the National Incubation Centre (NIC) in Islamabad for the next five years. This strategic collaboration aims to further bolster the startup landscape in Pakistan with a strong emphasis on nurturing technology-driven ventures.
Since its inception, NIC Islamabad has played a pivotal role in supporting startups, incubating over 295 ventures and creating over 23,000 jobs, with a notable focus on female founders. Now, with the backing of Hashoo Group Consortium, NIC Islamabad is poised to expand its services and offerings to empower startups across various technological sectors.
Under this partnership, NIC Islamabad will continue to provide state-of-the-art workspaces, access to venture capital, mentorship from industry leaders, and specialized labs in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and HealthTech. With the support of leading incubators, accelerators, and academic institutions, NIC Islamabad aims to accelerate the growth of startups and contribute to Pakistan’s economic development.
