About the Program
Standard Chartered Bank, in partnership with INNOVentures Global (Private) Limited, is excited to launch the Standard Chartered Women in Tech Programme! This initiative aims to support technology-enabled, women-led businesses, foster diversity in tech, and empower women with opportunities to enhance their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
The programme is designed to support early-to-mid-stage professionals through critical funding and mentorship.
What Does the Programme Offer?
Through this programme, the Bank will:
- Insightful Training & Mentorship: Provide women founders with valuable training and mentorship, focusing on:
- Global project organization
- Network building
- Investment readiness
- Capacity Building: Help enhance the operational capabilities and business outcomes of existing businesses.
- Industry Insights: Share valuable insights on women entrepreneurship in Pakistan.
- Access Improvement: Identify actions needed to improve women’s access to technological infrastructure.
- Global Networking: Establish a foundation for strengthening cooperation and networking among technology-enabled, women-led businesses worldwide.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek to recruit the brightest entrepreneurial minds from female-led businesses comprising 2 to 3 members that leverage technology as key drivers of innovation. Applicants are welcome from all over Pakistan!
Eligibility Criteria:
- Female-Led Business: Must be a business led by women, with at least one-third of the founders being female.
- Established Duration: Women founder(s) should have been active for at least six months.
- Tech Focus: Must be a technology venture or a traditional business aiming to grow through technology.
- Growth Potential: Should demonstrate significant growth and/or impact potential.
- Scalability Plan: Must have a plan to scale using the seed grant, mentoring, and other support.
- Material Difference: The Bank’s investment must make a substantial difference to the business.
- Registered Entity: Must be a registered entity (private limited company, non-profit, or sole proprietorship) with an NTN operating for:
- No less than 6 months at the time of application.
- No more than 5 years old at the time of application.
