๐ About the Project:
The Scaling-up of GLOF risk reduction in Northern Pakistan (GLOF-II) project is a vital initiative addressing climate change-induced disasters. It aims to enhance the resilience of communities to GLOF risks, covering 24 valleys in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). The project involves infrastructural activities, capacity building, and community-focused initiatives.
๐ Your Role:
As an M&E Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in:
- Implementing the project’s M&E mechanism with a focus on gender-inclusive data collection.
- Regularly monitoring project sites in GB and KP, ensuring progress aligns with set indicators.
- Coordinating with provincial teams for reporting and progress updates.
- Assisting in quality assurance of project documents and ensuring data accuracy.
- Contributing to the success stories and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
๐ผ Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (with Secondary Education) or 2 years (with Bachelorโs degree) in M&E systems design.
- Skills in data analysis, dashboard creation, and risk mitigation techniques are valuable.
- Knowledge of project management and proficiency in English and Urdu.
