  • YoY Decline: 18.93% compared to $304.03 million in Q1 FY24
  • MoM Increase: 29.32% in September 2024, reaching $102.63 million (compared to $79.36 million in August 2024)

  • Q1 FY25 in PKR: Rs 68.61 billion
  • Decline in PKR: 22.86% from Rs 88.95 billion in Q1 FY24

The overall telecom imports also saw some fluctuations:

  • Q1 FY25 Telecom Imports: $374.41 million
  • YoY Decline: 6.17% compared to $399.05 million in Q1 FY24
  • MoM Increase: Telecom imports surged by 28.92% in September 2024, reaching $153.14 million (up from $118.79 million in August).

  • August 2024: 1.49 million handsets manufactured locally, compared to only 0.1 million imported commercially
