In a landmark step towards digital transformation, Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT) has partnered with Binance Academy to bring blockchain education to tens of thousands of students across the country.
The initiative, announced as part of a strategic alliance with the world’s leading crypto exchange, aims to provide blockchain and Web3 training to 300 educators and 80,000 students across 20 universities by the year 2026.

This national initiative will:
- Train 300 university educators with tailored blockchain teaching resources

- Integrate Web3 and blockchain modules into formal curricula

🌍 Part of the Global University Outreach Program
This initiative builds on the Global University Outreach Program (GUOP), the world’s largest Web3 education campaign, launched in partnership with the Blockchain & AI Technology Center (BAITC).
- Originated with a pilot in Kazakhstan (2023)
- Now expanded to 20 countries, with plans to cover 200 universities in 50+ countries
- Aims to educate over 1 million students globally by 2026

Pakistan’s Minister for IT and Telecom, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, praised the partnership, stating:
