The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC), has introduced ‘Raahguzar’, a cutting-edge GIS-based mobile application designed to help users locate authorized petrol stations and report illegal fuel outlets.

Empowering Consumers with Technology

The ‘Raahguzar’ app harnesses Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to provide real-time information about legal petrol stations. It serves as a transparency tool, allowing government officials, law enforcement agencies, and everyday users to:

Identify authorized fuel stations and avoid unregulated vendors.
Report illegal gas stations (commonly known as “dabba stations”).
Check real-time petrol and diesel prices to prevent overcharging.
Enhance fuel quality control by exposing fraudulent practices.

Ensuring Transparency & Consumer Protection

With the increasing concern over substandard fuel and price manipulation, OGRA’s initiative aims to safeguard consumer interests by promoting fair competition and eliminating unauthorized petrol stations. Users can now submit complaints directly via the app, ensuring prompt action against violators.
