A major milestone for Pakistan’s tech sector is on the horizon as the Islamabad Information Technology Park is set to be inaugurated on August 14, 2025, an official from the Ministry of IT confirmed.

- Total Area: 66,893 square meters
- Structure: 2 basements, 1 ground floor, and 9 upper floors
- Capacity:
- 120 office spaces for IT and IT-enabled Service (ITeS) companies
- Startup incubation center with 15 dedicated offices
- Support Facilities Include:
- Business Support Center offering legal, marketing, and financial advisory services
- Industry-Academia Linkage Center to promote collaboration between universities and the tech sector
- Tier III Data Center, Pakistan’s first of its kind, ensuring uninterrupted power and secure data services
🌐 Driving Innovation and Global Competitiveness
The Islamabad IT Park will serve as a platform to foster collaboration among local and international academics, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers.
The initiative is designed to:
- Enhance workspace availability for startups and IT companies
- Promote technology transfer and commercialization of innovation
- Strengthen research and development (R&D) capabilities
- Support industry-academia linkages for future talent development
📈 Bigger Vision: IT Parks Beyond Islamabad
Along with the Islamabad facility, another IT park is planned near Karachi airport.
