During a key meeting between Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Industries and Production, and Hiroshi Kawamura, CEO of Pak Suzuki, plans were discussed to:

Introduce ethanol-compatible cars to the Pakistani market.
Ensure engine compatibility with alternative fuels.
Boost the use of locally manufactured auto parts to strengthen the industry.

This move is expected to reduce reliance on traditional fuels, cut emissions, and make fuel-efficient cars more accessible to Pakistani consumers.


Biogas Plant in Lahore: Advancing Green Energy 🔋⚡

Pak Suzuki also announced plans to set up a biogas plant in Manga Mandi, near Lahore, which will:

Support Pakistan’s renewable energy goals.
Contribute to sustainable fuel alternatives.

Haroon Akhtar Khan applauded Suzuki’s initiative, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to biofuel, biogas, and electric vehicle projects. He highlighted Pakistan and Japan’s potential for industrial collaboration, especially in green energy solutions.

This collaboration falls in line with Pakistan’s “Uraan” vision—a strategy aimed at promoting eco-friendly vehicles and reducing carbon footprints.
